PROMOTIONAL CONSULTANT

Summary: To ensure that customers are given established high quality care and service so that they may order more frequently.

Core Responsibilities and Abilities include the following:

  • Create your own customer base
  • Evaluate Customer needs and recommend programs to accomplish their objectives
  • Take incoming calls from customers and referrals from other sources
  • Handle all aspects of an order respectfully, from initial inquiries and providing quotes to customer follow-up after an order has been received by the customer
  • Communicate with vendors and internal customers when samples, quotes and research requests are needed to place orders, check on order status, and resolve problems
  • Enter customer order information on a PC based order processing system
  • Ensure customer art is sent to the art department when required
  • Effectively articulate product information, features, and benefits appropriately
  • Once trained, must be able to demonstrate with confidence an “Expertise” in promotional products and imprinting processes/technologies
  • Logged into the telesales phone system to ensure prompt customer response per department standards
  • Responsible for meeting and maintaining performance objectives and/or goals
  • Will participate in recommended training classes as appropriate and actively seeking professional development
  • Will have calls with customers monitored on a random basis to ensure high quality

Education/Skills Experience

  • High school diploma
  • Two years direct sales/customer service experience preferred
  • Proven effective interpersonal skills
  • Salary: Commissions
